The name « Whispering Hooves » expresses the sacred essence of the animals life and the unique bond between the animal, its hide, the object I create and the person who will wear it. This name is also my infinite gratitude to these animals.

​Each piece is unique and reflects my attachment to the Culture, Arts and Crafts and Arts of the North American Indians.

 

The pieces I create are vessels in the archaic sense, they carry the memory of a territory that is both intimate and universal.

They invite us to reconnect with Beauty, to listen to our silence and to vibrate to the rhythm of our eternal chant.

Each piece is the result of an intuitive dance with the hide. Creating these bags and pouches is a most precious gift from Life, so it is with deep gratitude that I do it.

 

The wild deerhides come from the USA, as do most of the ornaments that I use. The turquoise, the sterling silver beads and conchos come from Arzona and New Mexico, USA. The glass beads are manufactured in Europe and Japan. The calf skins come from Europe.

Each piece is made, in France, entirely by my hands and to the rhythm of my heart.

 

And the hooves of the animal may go on whispering a gentle dance through each creation, for you...
