"Your Path", wild deerhide handbag with black beads and coral
Made from wild deerhide, this bag is a unique piece, entirely crafted by my hands in France.
Golden dust fallen from the stars sprinkled your shoulders.
So light and delicate.
It swirled gently around your beautiful heart, lingering for a moment— then drifting down your body, it wrapped your whole being in a soft, shimmering embrace.
Since then, you have been walking together
And in the depth of the night, your golden feet light the path.
Description
This bag can be worn over the shoulder or across the body.
Its beautiful deep black leather is delicate and soft.
The flap is sprinkled with a few faceted black beads, tiny antique metal golden ones, a bamboo coral one. As these beads are embroidered into the thickness of the leather, they appear on the reverse side of the flap. The edge of the flap is trimmed with small round and faceted black glass beads, one faceted bamboo coral one, and two turquoise beads.
The front of the bag is dotted with a few black faceted beads, tiny antique metal golden beads and two bamboo coral beads. Its border is embroidered with a double row of shiny and matte black round glass beads.
The seam of the handle is embroidered with shiny and matte round beads, faceted black ones, and antique coral. At the points where it meets the bag, it is embellished with genuine New Mexico turquoise, turquoise heishi beads, bamboo coral, an antique coral tube bead, and black faceted beads.
Some fringes are finished with antique metal golden beads and brass cones. They are also adorned with bamboo coral beads, turquoise heishi, antique metal golden beads, faceted and round glass black beads, and an antique coral bead. These different materials are also found on the ties at the top of the handle.
This bag is lined and comes in an unbleached cotton pouch with its name on it, also sewn by hand.
