Necklace pouch, deep red cowhide and mother-of-pearl birds
This cowhide necklace pouch is a unique piece, entirely crafted by my hands in France.
Imbued with poetry, it can be worn like a jewel!
If you feel like slipping something inside, it could be a small photo, a lock of hair, a prayer, a mantra,..., but nothing thick.
Description
The front of the pouch is adorned with a small mother-of-pearl bird held in place by antique gilded metal beads. There's also a turquoise heishi bead and a touch of the same beads in gilded metal.
The perimeter is embroidered with small, round, ivory-colored glass beads.
The ties at the top of the back are adorned with another small mother-of-pearl bird, round ivory and small antique beads in gilded and bluish metal.

4 x 6.5 cm
Necklace length:
39.5 cm from the pouch to the back of the neck
The ties drop to the back, one at 30 cm and the other at 35 cm.
Care
This is a precious object, but wear it as often as you like!
Do not store it in direct sunlight which can cause it to fade.
Terre de Sommières is ideal for removing any greasy stains.
