"My Love", wild deerhide handbag, black beads and genuine turquoises
This handbag is made of wild deerhide, it is unique and enterely crafted by my hands in France.
It is early morning, and gentle rain falls upon the pale moor, still asleep.
The cool wind brushes your cheeks and whispers through the curls of your hair; no other sound stirs.
And covered in silver droplets, you gaze at the dark earth gleaming beneath your splashed bare feet.
Description
The leather of this bag is soft, supple, and slightly thick.
It can be carried on the shoulder or on the forearm.
The front features a central seam enhanced with a leather tie. Its edge is embroidered with small irregularly placed black glass beads, accented with genuine Arizona turquoise stones. These black beads are also found throughout the bag.
The bottom is closed with leather ties. Turquoise glass beads inlaid into the leather highlight these ties. In the center, they meet, adorned with a genuine Arizona turquoise and a copper cone.
The handle is embroidered with black beads, antique gold beads, and genuine Arizona turquoise stones, the latter enhanced with antique old-silver beads. Some of the handle’s fringes are finished with black glass beads, antique gold and old-silver beads, and a turquoise heishi bead.
The bag is fully lined.
It is a precious piece, delivered in its natural cotton pouch bearing its name, also sewn by my own hands. It is recommended to store it in this pouch to preserve it.
